Highlights of our new Holiday Pinzgauer Tour include views of Harry Packer and Asa Packer Mansions perched high on Packer Hill and a ride atop Flagstaff Mountain where you will be able to view the entire town as if it is a scale model below you!

ALL TERRAIN PINZGAUER MOUNTAIN TOURS
Ride in an high-mobility, all-terrain military vehicle, also known as a Pinzgauer, to a private mountain world with rugged terrain, hidden lakes, and beautiful vistas. Your driver will chat about local lore and history as you Pinz up and down 10 miles of rugged trails, pass shear rock faces, and straight down the mountainside aptly named “Hades Hollow”. Part of the tour is a true white knuckle experience for passengers and driver alike.
Mid-way, you’ll break from all the off-road excitement for a short guided hike on “Bear Run” ending near “Rattlesnake Bluff”. At “Blue Lake” you’ll have a few moments to relax, have a snack and drink which are provided, take a few photos, and enjoy the breathtaking view. Fossil hunting is a favorite nearby!
This is a exclusive outing utilizing a very unique all-terrain vehicle over challenging and pristine wilderness!

Tour Times: 10am and 2pm
Rates: $69.95 per adult$59.95 per child (ages 8 thru 14)
Includes: 3 hour off road tour, short hikes, photo opportunities, bottled water, and a snack.

Are the tours safe?
Yes, driver guides are trained and are experienced off road drivers. Pinzgauer’s are equipped with seatbelts and roll bars. They are designed as all-terrain high mobility vehicles. Safety is our utmost priority! Is the off-road tour a bumpy experience? The tour travels through creeks, over boulders, and up/down steep inclines. Be prepared to be jostled around a bit.
What should I Bring?
Pictures & video are encouraged so be sure to bring your cameras. Water and a snack are provided but you are also welcome to bring your own. Just remember anything you bring will be in your lap for the duration of the trip so pack light! Binoculars may be helpful to use at the vistas.
What should I wear?
Dress for the weather, Pinzgauer’s are always open sided and depending on the weather, the top may be off to enhance your experience. Open toe shoes are not recommended! Don’t forget your tour includes hikes over rocky terrain to breath taking views and natural features.
Are there any restrictions?
Persons with current or chronic neck/back injuries are discouraged as well as pregnancies and recent surgery. All guests are required to wear/fasten a standard size lap seat belt. Tours are bumpy and travel along difficult terrain.
What are the age limits?
Our recommended age limits are 8 to 80, but we encourage our passengers to use their discretion to ensure a safe and fun ride for all.
Do the tours run in the rain?
Tours do run in all weather, so remember to dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
Are there bathrooms on the tour?
Restrooms are provided at the pickup/drop off location. We encourage passengers to use the restrooms before boarding. The tours travel to a very remote and pristine area where no facilities are available, other than “facileTREES”!
Do Driver/guides accept tips?
Gratuities although not required, are greatly appreciated by the driver/guides. They work hard to give you a safe trip filled with lasting memories!
Running late?
We expect passengers to be on time for their tour. It is important that you arrive at the time given on your confirmation. The Driver/guides will use their discretion regarding tardy passengers. Remember there are other passengers on the tour and in the event that a customer misses the scheduled tour, there is no guarantee for placement on another tour and no refunds.

Just pick a date then give us a call at 1-800-WHITEWATER (1-800-944-8392) to book a tour. Tours fill up quickly, so we suggest you book your tour as soon as possible.
What happens in the event of a cancellation?
The tours do run in most weather but can be cancelled by the driver/guides due to safety of the passengers. In this event persons with reservations will be given a voucher for a later tour or a full refund.
What happens if I cancel my reservation?
Our cancellation policy is: Cancellations made more than 10 days prior to a trip may be rescheduled or refunded. If you cancel within 10 days of your trip, we would be happy to reschedule or send an activity voucher.
Do I need a waiver?
Yes, all passengers on the Pinzgauer need to fill out our liability waiver.
