FAQ?

Q. How do we reserve our trip?

A. Pick a date, tell your friends and join us for a day on the trail. Reservations for our bike rentals or shuttle services are no longer necessary unless you are bringing more than 15 friends, joining one of our specialty guided adventures or coming for a multi-day trip. We want to make it as easy as possible, so just show up at your convenience. If you’d like to talk with us or need reservations, please call us at 1-800-WHITEWATER (1-800-944-8392)

Q. What about a deposit?

A. Remember, if you have less than 15 people, you do not need to make a reservation or leave a deposit for our rental or shuttle services.  However, if you have more than 15 people or would like to join our guided specialty trips or multi-day adventures, then a $10.00 per person deposit will hold your trip date and time.

Credit cards are accepted over the telephone or you may send a check or money order. Payment in full must be received 10 days prior to the day of your trip. If you are mailing payment, send to: Pocono Biking, 1519 State Route 903, Jim Thorpe, PA 18229.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. Cancellations made more than 10 days prior to a trip may be rescheduled or refunded. If you cancel within 10 days of your trip, we would be happy to reschedule or send activity vouchers.

Q. What are the GPS Coordinates for Pocono Whitewater?

A. Check it out… Click Here For Weather

Q. Do we have to bring lunch?

A. Lunch is great to have everyday.  Both of our bike shops do have light snacks and drinks availble for purchase.  You are also welcome to bring your own lunch and snacks or vist one of the local sandwich shops (i.e. Subway) located within walking distance from our stores.

Q. What are your policies on safety?

A. We have maintained an excellent record of safety for over 35 years. However, any outdoor adventure activity offers varying degrees of inherent natural risk.

Minimize your risk and maximize your fun by following these simple trail rules:

  • Give audible warning when passing pedestrians and other bicyclists.
  • Bicyclists must yield to pedestrians.
  • Always yield right and pass on the left.
  • Do not take up the whole trail. When others are approaching travel in a single file on the right.
  • Move off to the side of the trail when stopping.  Let people that are in motion use the trail.

Pocono Whitewater Ltd. cannot assume responsibility for property loss or personal liability. If you question your physical abilities, please consult your physician. You will be asked to acknowledge your acceptance of these conditions before your trip by signing a waiver of liability form agreeing to participate at your own risk.
