We have maintained an excellent record of safety for over 40 years. However, any outdoor adventure activity offers varying degrees of inherent natural risk.
Minimize your risk and maximize your fun by following these simple trail rules:
- Give audible warning when passing pedestrians and other bicyclists.
- Bicyclists must yield to pedestrians.
- Always yield right and pass on the left.
- Do not take up the whole trail. When others are approaching travel in a single file on the right.
- Move off to the side of the trail when stopping. Let people that are in motion use the trail.
When you visit our Jim Thorpe location, you can park in the municipal parking lot located next to the train station. They charge you a small fee but you can park there all day.
Oppositely, when you visit our White Haven location, you can use our free parking lot!
We have a restroom at both of our locations. When you’re on the trail, there’s a bathroom at Rockport and Glen Onoko.
There are no places to purchase food along the trail, however, there are picnic benches for you to enjoy lunch! You can pick up food in Jim Thorpe or White Haven to take with you on the bike trail!
