After repeated feedback about offering a ride on the Pine Creek Rail Trail, the day is finally here! Situated in the 800-1,400-foot gorge known as the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, this tour allows riders to experience an exceptionally maintained trail in the remote parts of the Pennsylvania Wilds. Our 3 day Pine Creek trip brings us to a rustic area of PA where lodging and restaurant options are limited. After your ride, bring a book or a collapsible fishing pole (with a license) to enjoy a peaceful evening reconnecting with nature on the banks of Pine Creek.

PINE CREEK BIKE TOUR SUMMARY
Day 1 (Dinner): Meet your guides and fellow riders in Jersey Shore, PA, where you’ll park your vehicle before being shuttled to a group dinner and overnight accommodations at the Hotel Manor.
Day 2 (38 Miles): After a group breakfast, shuttle to the top of the Pine Creek Trail in Wellsboro, PA. Enjoy a day of riding through the remote gorge and learning about the 1800s ‘Lumber Capital of the World’ as you pass interpretive signs along the way. Finish the day with a quiet evening and group dinner at the Hotel Manor.
Day 3 (27 Miles): Savor a final group breakfast at the hotel before riding back to your cars in Jersey Shore. Along the way, we’ll stop for snacks and take in the last breathtaking views of this National Natural Landmark, recognized by the National Park Service.

TRIP NOTES
- Difficulty: Easy – Crushed gravel trail
- Trip Size: Up to 12 guests, 2 guides
- Minimum Age: 13 years old
- Our Pine Creek Bike Tour offers a more remote experience than our other multi-day trips. Be sure to bring a book, a deck of cards, comfortable walking shoes, or a collapsible fishing rod (with a license) for evening entertainment. We’ll spend two nights in the village of Slate Run, home to just 36 residents.
- All rooms at the Hotel Manor have one bed. If you require two beds, you must book the single supplement and have separate rooms.
- Conventional bikes and eBikes only; NO trikes, recumbents, or tandems. Please note that all E-bikes must comply with DCNR’s E-bike Pedalcycle Policy. E-bikes MUST:
- Be pedal-assist
- Weigh no more than 100 pounds
- Not exceed 20 mph using the motor functionality
- Be equipped with a motor of no more than 750 watts

- Bike rental (if needed) – $79.
- e-Bike rental (if needed) – $160.
- Single supplement – $125. additional for those traveling solo
