Join us today and enjoy a scenic bike ride on the D&L Trail through the beautiful Lehigh Gorge State Park, our most popular biking day trip. Today, our Pocono Biking Jim Thorpe location is open. Beginning at 9:30am, you can rent one of our Trek bicycles by the hour or for the entire day. We also have convenient shuttle services available which allow you to enjoy one-way, downhill rides up to 25 miles on the D&L Trail. Just choose the time, length, and section of trail that best fits your schedule.
Important Trail Notice – Effective October 31, 2026, Until Further Notice
SHUTTLE SERVICES
- Due to a rockslide near Jim Thorpe, a 2-mile section of the D&L Trail is temporarily inaccessible.
- Your morning shuttle drop-off will not be affected; however, you will not be able to ride the final 2 miles of the trail into Jim Thorpe.
- We will have a shuttle waiting for you at Glen Onoko in Lehigh Gorge State Park to transport you back to our Jim Thorpe store, where your vehicle is parked.
BIKE RENTALS – NO SHUTTLE SERVICE
- Due to a rockslide near Jim Thorpe, a 2-mile section of the D&L Trail is temporarily inaccessible; therefore, all hourly and daily bike rentals departing from our downtown Jim Thorpe location are restricted to southbound trail travel only.
- Northbound travel toward White Haven is not permitted at this time, unless you utilize our shuttle service.
- Riders may travel south from Jim Thorpe toward Weissport, Lehighton, and beyond.
- The trail remains open south of Jim Thorpe, offering beautiful views of the Lehigh River, historic canal remnants, and the surrounding scenery.
This is an unforeseen natural event, and these temporary shuttle and rental restrictions will remain in effect until further notice.
